Fast charging not working on Note 4, how can I get it working?

fast charging not working on note 4

since last update, i notice the fast charging not working, i am using original charger, original USB cable, fast charging become gray light green when i insert the charger, when charging not plugged, green checked box, i can turn it off or on,
now charging slowly to the point, when using GPS while using a car charger plugged, the battery capacity decrease,
this had happen after the last update, what could be done for that? a hard reset way solve the problem? don't want to lose all data or programs in my note 4 .

My Note5 is doing the exact same thing. If I'm charging my phone, I can't use it... at all. If I DO use it, it only maintains a charge - if that. OEM cable, plug, etc. On 5.1.1 also.

You can't uncheck/check the fast charge box if the phone is charging. Unplug it first and then you can check and uncheck it.

The new update (5.1.1) on the Note 4 comes with charging issues, which hopefully will be addressed in the next (Marshmallow) update.
