Fast charging questions

I currently have an S7 Edge (exynos in the uk) and i understand its not got qualcomm quick charge (or at least I dont believe it has) as its a samsung chip not qualcomm. However a qualcomm quick charge 3 charger charges the phone and it displays quick charge message and does seem to charge quickly. My question is, on the note 8 (exynos) would the same quick charge plug (Anker - has usbA port so I would use an anker usbA to usbC cable charge the note 8 with quick charge or does it have to be a samsung charger - maybe due to it using 9V rather than 5V. Basically I am trying to work out if I could use my existing anker chargers or not.
