Fast Charging

Is anyone else having an issue with the phone not fast charging? I'm using the cable it came with. It'll fast charge sometimes but lately it won't. Also, my battery life seems to have taken a big hit. Any suggestions?

I purchased my Verizon s6 edge+, on Nov. 4th and used the supplied cable until I got a Samsung wireless fast charger which I now use. Haven't had a problem with either one. Love the wireless fast charging...

The culprit could be just the cable itself. They can tend to have short lifespans. I recently used my girls LG cable, due to me having this issue and it fast charges every time now. Note, that not all cables work for FCing though.

I have seen this a couple of times with my E+ and I was using the official cable. I assumed it was to do with the fact there is some algorithm that determines if the phone is in a suitable state for fast charging or not but like I say that is an assumption.

I had this issue, and replaced the cable. Have not had any problems since.

I was having the same issue with my Edge Plus from T-Mobile. I figured out the culprit was the cable itself. There was one missing connection on the male side of the micro USB cord. So I put another cord in with all the connections intact and it works flawlessly now.
