Fast Charging

Got the rerelease N7 and it takes forever to charge and yes I checked in the settings to ensure that it's on but it's not. That was one of the reason I went back to the Note from my iPhone. Anyone else having this issue?

Are you using original charging adapter that came with the phone there's other reporting the same thing turns out that it was an adapter issue they were using another brand.

Neither through wireless (Samsung charger) or plugging in (not using the Samsung charger. Using a braided USB-C to A cord I got from Amazon and a certified QC 2.0 charger) am I seeing this issue. Fast charging really worked plugging in. Went from 27% to around 80% in a half hour

Fast charging working well here using the samsung plug and cable. Have not tried wireless yet but that is next

I think I'm using the charging block from my N4, let me switch it out and see if that works

Yup, using the stock charger that came with the new/old phone. Also using the wireless charger with fast charge. The new version. They both cause phone to get warm when charging (which is expected) but it does take longer to charge.

I turned off fast charging, read some articles it was bad for longevity of battery, but using the charging stuff in the box, the new one still charges pretty fast and doesn't get hot, though my recalled one didn't get hot either. But this went from 29 to 100 in an hour and a half. I don't usually charge to 100 but it's new and I like to do a couple of full cycles at the start. Haven't tried with my wireless charger yet, that's next.

My (exchanged) Note 7 fast charging works fine, both with the included Samsung charger/charging cable and the Samsung charger/aftermarket wireless charging stand.

Doesn't seem to get any warmer than the original did...

Many folks - including me - had this experience during the FIRST charging cycle. See if the slower charging happens continually, it should not

Mine now charges very fast, same as my original Note 7.

Are you by chance referring to fast wireless charging? If so, go to settings, to settings, system and then accessories. There you can turn on wireless fast charging.
