Good first step. Plenty of other regulating they could do. Set price caps, Stop monopolies, But, guess you gotta start somewhere.

Good point. High already. Thank you. But please share with us when AFTER the government began “regulating” a utility service that prices stayed the same or fell. Answer: they won't. Enjoy. But we'll all "feel" better. Not.

Also look at the quality of other utilities, especially the electrical grid. They can barely keep up with demand in places due to pricing regulation, while Internet access is constantly improving. Pick your poison, because you can't have both a price capped utility and modernized distribution/access.
