So I have the auto robo call block but in the photo app it still shows pop and no way to blur after the shot is taken?
Has that not come to this phone yet? It was on my other 4xl before it died.

I received all the features since my pixel 4 xl received the Dec. Update.

Some photos don't have but I'd say if it's a photo of a person, animal like dog or object like a toy 9 out of 10 times it's available for me.

The blur option only shows up on photos that Google algorithmically determines it can blur on. Mostly photos which has faces in them but again it may decide for whatever reason it can't blur and that option may not be visible.

In the photos app, if a photo can be blurred it'll automatically show the option like this at the bottom.

....even if it doesn't show up automatically you can still press the second icon (adjust?) and it might allow you to blur the photo.

Yeah haven't seen the blur pop up yet for me

Just went and looked through old photos of faces up close... No option to blur like I had on my original pixel 4XL when I got the feature Drop. Ive tried to see if there are any updates available, none showed up.

A little annoying...

No it's doesn't actually, for me only the blur option shows outside for photos which it thinks it can apply the blur effect. If it doesn't show up automatically there, I can't go into edit/adjust mode to apply that effect.

This is what I have.....it will show pop instead of blur if it doesn't think it can't blur. This is on a picture that didn't show blur automatically.

I used to have that on my previous 4xl,

I don't think my Duo updated

No idea if memory management is updated

Is there a way I can look at the software version of Google camera or Google photos and duo etc to know if my feature drops have loaded?? It's annoying to have it, phone takes a dump, new phone (same model, same provider) doesn't have it

My wife pixel 2xl had the blur, my pixel 3 xl does not. Both on December patch with the same Google photo version. Make no freaking sense

I have received none of the Features in the Feature drop even though Google has emailed me INFORMING ME I HAVE RECEIVED "NEW FEATURES." I have dealt with Pixel support, FI support and Google ONE support about this doing everything short of an FDR(including multiple screen shares). The phone is absolutely up to date including the dec. security update. If these features don't arrive by the beginning of the year, i'm going to be forced to do an FDR and will most likely have to get the phone replaced, which of course sucks! It is a Pixel 4XL by the way.

We're spoiled by our pixel updates..... some of you guys need to go out and buy most any other Android phone on the market, including Samsung, and see how often the other half gets their updates.

I guarantee you you wouldn't be so obsessed about an update being slightly late, or obsessed you haven't gotten all your features ;-)

Frankie say relax, you'll get your updates, next month will roll around same thing, month after month after month for 3 years :-D

I've been doing it for years now on my pixel.... no complaints ;-)
