Just some information; might mean nothing to many; might be interesting to some.

One paragraph did catch my attention and wonder if it has anything to do with the C-band on the Pixel 6? I'll let ya'll read and decide.

"Google has faced numerous challenges with updates for the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro. The company is yet to release the carrier versions of its latest Pixel 6 update. Meanwhile, the company has only offered one global build of the most recent update."

Let's hope that Google finally has it all figured out...especially for the 6's. Thanks for the update, RETG!

I literally was just reading this article from another of my daily feeds. Lol

Here's hoping. The phone has been out for a while now. Shouldn't still have all these issues 4 months into release.

The last paragraph is confusing, I thought Google did away with specific carrier builds as of the January update? Which is what we wanted and the way it should be. Why would we want specific carrier builds for each carrier? Am I missing something?

Only thing I can think of is the Pixel 6 did not come with the software for C-band connectivity on Verizon's system. There are some people here noting they cannot connect to the C-band where it has been turned On, and that Google was supposed to send out an update to load the software for the modem to connect. That's why I questioned that para I highlighted in the post.
But hell, I might be totally off base.

I hope that is it. Ridiculous that I buy a flagship phone from Verizon, yet they haven't yet "certified" the C-band 5G for the device they sell on their own network. Not like they didn't know it was coming.
