Just installed. As usual not available with useless T-Mobile SIM on US unlocked model. (T-mobile sucks).

Got the update pulled by putting an old Verizon SIM.

You can always download with Frija and flash it with Odin. I just did that, and it's only a couple of minutes of work (plus ten minutes of waiting for completion).

By the way, for the unlocked Note20 Ultra, T-Mobile released 8 OTA updates in 6 months, and there were two more updates that they skipped that could be gotten via Frija. If they keep that up for the S21 Ultra, I'll have no complaints.

So if I’m unlocked with T-Mobile as my carrier/T-Mobile SIM, do I NOT get the update?

Jeez, no RCS support and last on the updates too..........C'mon man!
Yeah T-Mobile sucks the most in terms of certifying the updates, but no big deal since there are workarounds. I have 5 free lines from them so I'll tolerate some of this crap

For RCS, my preferred messaging app Google messages supports it anyway so that's covered.

That is probably the one thing I will miss about the Pixel line, no carrier involvement when it comes to updates.

Yeah, your right, lol
Though recently I think they have improved a bit. I'm getting the updates on my pixel 5 with T-Mobile sim same day they released. And I don't have to go thru the dance of changing SIM etc. But happens on Pixel line as well where sometimes updates are delayed for a carrier because they haven't certified.

Only Apple has the balls and control to give deadlines to carrier and get their **** done within the time Apple decides.
