Just rebooted after this second February update ... We shall see what it's got.

Build Number:
SQ1D.220205.004

If anyone cares

So far everything seems solid. My fingerprint sensor is working reliably, just as before. It does seem to be quicker.

Do a restart!
Then see if you see it.
I'm on the optimizing stage right now.
My P6P is on 12L Beta 3 so I doubt this update is for the 12L version. In fact this update might actually contain the updates and fixes that are already in 12LB3.

Well, of course, that explains it! I don't do betas as I need my devices to work reliably.

You know, I'm on 12L as well and wasn't even thinking about that.

Installing now.

From what I remember from the last 2 betas, for those that are on a beta build they don't get regular security patches like this one, security patches are rolled into beta updates.

I figured the fixes that are in today's update were already in the 12LBeta3.

Probably.
So this time it paid to take a chance on a beta. It also explains why 12LB3 was released to the Pixel 6 series before the public release. To make sure the bugs were squashed. Google didn't want another December release fiasco.

Got it. Or, more accurately, getting it.

Interesting that my last update literally took under 2 minutes, the whole thing. This time I am seeing the slowly moving "optimizing app" status bar. For some reason, makes it more real to me.
