I actually tried out an iPhone x yesterday. The phone is pretty nice (besides that ridiculous notch) but ios is just so plain and dated. It desperately needs a makeover. That's the main reason I couldn't go back to iPhones. Can't stand how they decide how you can use your phone.

Enjoy your X. It's a very nice phone. I am just the opposite. I have an X and Note 8 and Pixel 2XL and iPhone 8 plus. But I use the Note 8 the mist and will return the X next week. It's just too small for me

I tried the x at a reseller store. It looked like a toy next to Note 8. And anyway I find IOS too restrictive (had IPad 2).

Glad to hear you found the best phone for you. How long have you had it? Are you fine with the smaller size screen? Some people prefer that, I suppose it would fit easier for carrying etc. Still love my Note 8 but I'm glad you've found something you really enjoy. You'll get the best phone experience with something you're most happy with.

Love both my Note 8 and my iPhone X but my X has become my primary device. If you can get past the OS limitations then I highly recommend it. I feel like screen sizes have reached the top end limit making devices too large (I always wanted a bigger screen with every generation) but the X hit the perfect size to hold and work with for me.

Lol, they gave it a makeover, it's called iOS 11 and they can't get it to work very well. Little things like battery life and typing the letter i have been messed up.

I had an iPhone X and came back to Android. The X was a mishmash of half-baked hardware and software choices.

I have both. The only place the iPhone wins is imessage and maneuverability. It's way easier to use one handed. Of course the screen is smaller so that's a given. The s8 is more of a device to compare the iPhone x to anyways.
