Few unroot questions...

Had a droidx few years back and I just got the s3 (had iphone 5)and rooted it from the directions on xdadevelopers.com. Not ready to unroot yet, just getting ready in case I need.

1. How is the best way to verify my bootloader is unlocked?
-I ask because my flash counter is at 1 and I seen where my bootloader does need to be unlocked before restating that with triangle away.
2. Do I run triangle away while rooted?? I've seen some confusing posts on this.
3. When unrooting with Odin (found directions on xdadevelers) is it ok to use an older firmware? Think 4.0.4 is what was posted. I'm guessing it'll just update back to jb?

I don't have a Verizon S3, so I can't address #1.

For #2, yes. Triangle away won't work on a non-rooted device.

#3, yes, if you successfully unroot (which means the flash counter = 0 and device status = normal (not modified), then all the OTAs should get applied.

Awesome thanks. From what I've read the initial Samsung on the boot screen flashes fairly quickly if the bootloader is unlocked and hangs a second or two locked. Mine is very quick. Should be good to go.
