FIDO security key on Huawei phones

Hi! I was wondering how do you use the (software-based?) FIDO security key built into Huawei phones through HMS Core (basically Huawei's equivalent to Google Mobile Services)? You can access it by adding a quick settings toggle to the notification shade, but I don't know how to set it up nor use it.
