File Browser?

Hi, folks.

I'm so new to Android -- sorry for the n00b question here.

I want to try out the AC keyboard on my new Inc. Is there a popular app that serves as a "file browser"?

Download this file (Android_Central_Keyboard.apk, ~4 megabytes), and install with your favorite file browser.

I have no clue what to use - unless I can just use Windows Explorer to just transfer the file to the phone? If I can do that, any idea in which directory I should place the .apk file?

you can place the apk anywhere using windows explorer.

to run the file, you will need a file browser on the device (android doesn't come with one)

a popular one is ASTRO File Manager

Downlaoded astro last night and it does work very well

Can the .apk be deleted off the phone after installation? Or, does it need to stay put?
