File location

When I put download videos, the files to to all applications where those types of files can play. I there any way to define the location where the files are stored?

how are you downloading the videos? each program has its own location the on the SD card where it stores files/videos.

For instance, I use Doggcatcher for Podcasts. When I downloaded video Podcasts download to everyone app that plays media. Problem is after I watch them, I have to go to every app to delete them.
