filemanager hide recent

hi
i got many files and fotos showing in filemanager recent
even i have .nomedia file its still showing?
how i can hide them or better delete recent option?

Welcome to Android Central! .nomedia files don't hide media files in file manager apps -- they prevent the files from being added to media databases (e.g., gallery apps).

What directory are most of these files in? The /Download directory?

Some file managers will hide files that are designated as hidden (i.e., with filenames that start with a leading period). But for the most part, file managers will still show all files that are in a directory.

You could look at some 3rd party file managers. I use Total Commander, which has the ability to hide files that start with a leading period. It also has an Ignore option to ignore certain folders or files with name criteria that you can select.

problem that photos in recent showing up that i dont want there

so either i need solution they not show up or a way to disable recent

"Recent" is likely a feature specific to that file manager. If this is My Files, then I doubt there's a way to disable that.

Won't be able to hide them in My Files app.

also no option to delete them from recent

also in apps there is all numbers if you like to receive notification or not
but my hidden numbers are also there

Yeah in My files app no , your on android 4 or 5 ? Which doesn't have secure folder like the newer Samsung phones.

first 1 app is working in main but when cloned its not working
and 2nd problem not possible hide everything i want like all fotos in recent which i don't want there and phone numbers in settings app show WhatsApp notifications have option and shows all numbers to show or hide notifications for these numbers

Best bet is search on XDA forums

In WhatsApp I haven't messed around see what you can hide or not , basically just make calls to family and friends and I'm out of the app.
