Files being deleted rather than moved...

I am having an issue with the file manager program on my ASUS TF201 with ICS. I have created a new folder and am trying to move .doc files into it. Each time in My Folders, I select the file and use the move tool, the move fails and I lose the .doc. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? any ideas what is going wrong?

try copying instead of moving, then going back and deleting the original file once its copied.

I have a Transformer with the original operating system. The move function worked fine until the operating system was updated two weeks ago. Now the file does not move as directed and disappears. Checked a new Asus Transformer at Best Buy with ICS and found the same problem. The computer department manager confirmed and suggested the copy paste delete work around til the bug gets fixed.
