Files not found on external card

Hi,
I am using an external sd card on my Samsung GT-P3110 and using Android V 4.1.1
For some reason the various apps no longer see the folders and music files that are on the card.
I can still see the files when I attach the card to my PC using Win7 and I can add or delete without issues.
Apps that are no longer seeing the files include n7player and ES File Explorer. This is only a recent development.
For the first five months I did not have any problems with this.
I would appreciate any assistance.

I would suggest to pull all the files from the card, and reformat it. See if that helps.
