Finally Broke Down!

Hello,
My name is Rick and I'm a convertee. I finally broke down and bought a smartphone.
I know, denial is the first step to recovery. LOL

I ordered myself a Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch and the wife a Conquer 4G, she just wanted a freebie.
I have been waiting all weekend for it and surfing for all the neat things I can and will do with it.
The first question is, "to root or not to root"?

Welcome to Android Central.

To answer your question on root or not? Give yourself a little time to become familiar with the device, the stock OS and mean while you can do research on what is offered with rooting with the devices you own and go from there. I will say the Epic 4g Touch has alot to offer in the rooting arena.
