Finally caved in to the craze.

Hey there folks, my name is Matt and I have finally given in to the hype and went the way of Android. I recently purchased the HTC incredible and have been playing around with the stock settings and vanilla apps that are readily available.
So far, I have enjoyed the OS and all the customizations that are around. Just today I have decided to root the phone and see what kind of trouble I can get into with that.

Here's the smartphone progression since about 2003/4ish:
Audiovox/UstarCom XV-6700 -> BB Curve 8330 -> BB Storm :'( -> Palm Pre Plus -> HTC Incredible

I loved WebOS, but hated the horrible marketing and hardware development roadmap. I am looking forward to having some hardware and software that can be customized for as long as my wife decides to keep signing contracts with big red.
