I am running GB rooted from XDA!!!! It didn't take forever...took 4 minutes.... WOOHOO!!!!!!
It's the stock rom so all of the BS apps are on there.
I just forgot which ones have to stay on...
Very smooth.

The OTA has been delayed until further notice. There was probably a glitch or bug in the update. At least they caught it before it was released.

Here's hoping that they let you download it externally and install it manually instead of waiting for the OTA but I guess that's wishful thinking on my part.

Lol! I think that IS wishful thinking. Imagine, a company making something convenient...

If someone remembers to run alogcat before downloading the OTA, then we can grab the URL out of the log and post it so you can get it when you want rather than waiting for the push. Hopefully, someone will remember.

Notified today of a system update on HTC Droid Incredible. Didn't think to look at this forum and allowed the update to run. According to HTC technical assistance I have to do a factory reset and reinstall all of my apps.

The phone is continually giving me "android.proces.acore has stopped unexpectedly." messages. It seems to be related to backup assistant I am also all of a sudden out of phone storage room. Contacts will not load.

Any suggestions before the nuclear opton?

Receiving update on incredible as I type on my 2.

I turned it on and it started, its not even activated.
