Find my phone no longer has map?

I've used the find my phone feature several times and it always worked great. I could find it on a map, ring the phone, lock it, etc.

Today when I tried to use it there didn't seem to be many options. Google just reported the city (which was off by one town) and gave me instructions on contacting the carrier.

Has something changed? I have notification services turned on.

Something strange is going on. I just tried it now, and I get the map, but it has the wrong phone listed, and it can't find it.

I can't answer your question, but Google has been known to have problems, and it takes a while for them to get fixed.

I think LookOut Security has a find my phone option. Could be a temporary fix for now.
