My ADR6350VW (smartphone) was stolen 8/18/11 and I tried downloading "Plan B" to it remotely without success. On the Android site they recognize my email address and me as owner of the phone, but I noticed that under "settings" on Android site it says last use of my phone was 8/18/11, even though when I get on my Verizon account, I see that the thief (or whoever he sold it to) is currently using it and has been for past ~2 weeks. I've also remotely downloaded from market.android.com all other free apps that are suppose to find my phone and send info to my email. All apps say they've been downloaded, but I've got no answers coming back on my gmail. I think it's because the Android site and Google can't see that my phone HAS and IS being used after 8/18. Any suggestions??? ps is there any way to read texts (to or from my stolen phone) from my home pc?

Those tracking apps need to be installed on the phone before it gets stolen. Call your service provider and report the phone as stolen. If its being used they may be able to track it. Technically the phone can't be activated by anyone else unless you deactivated it.

Whoever has you phone reset it and signed in with their own account. Plan B never got installed, because the phone is no longer associated with your Google login.

Call Verizon, and the cops.

this is to gbhil. Thanks for the reply, but maybe you didn't read the following part of my 1st comment:
" when I get on my Verizon account, I see that the thief (or whoever he sold it to) is currently using it and has been for past ~2 weeks."
The fact is, they ARE still using my account and I'm still paying my monthly bill in hopes that keeping them talking may somehow help me to get my phone back, through Plan B or however. I contacted police when it was stolen. I even know who stole it (know their name!) via a security camera at the business where it was stolen. The police were no help because "you couldn't really tell from the poor quality of the video that it was a cell phone". On my Verizon account, I can see all the calls (including numbers) and texts (though can't read text which would be very helpful) they've made and received and how many (too many!) gigabytes they've used! Someone please help! I'd really like to know why both the android site and google site settings say my phone was registered on 8/6/11 and last activity was 8/18/11 (the day phone was stolen) when I can see it being used on my Verizon account now!

Your Google account (just like an iTunes account, WindowsLive account, or a Palm ID) has nothing to do with your phone number, or your service agreement from Verizon.

Someone has your phone, and they signed you out of it, and signed themselves into it. If Verizon didn't explain this to you, then disable the phone number and mark it as stolen, I'd seriously consider switching to a company a bit more competent.
