find unread messages Huawei P30 Pro

I see the notification is still on my messaging app but cant find the unread message!! I'm sure it is in there somewhere.

Welcome to Android Central! You've already gone through all of your threads? If you have a ton of saved messaging threads, this can take a while, but if you've already looked through them all, then it might just be a stuck notification badge. You can try clearing the messaging app's cache/data in the Settings>Apps​ menu.
