Finding Files Android 11 Astro and File Managers

Without rooting, is there a practical way to search the file system on an Android 11 phone (Pixel 2 XL) to find file and directory names deep in the paths tree™?

Which file your looking for that you can't find in the stock file manager?

I use Total Commander on my 3 XL, which is able to look into the /Android/data directories for installed apps. Are you talking about system directories?
