Finger swipe HOT.

Had this ATRIX since august of 2011. First smartphone and hasn't had any issues til now. The finger print stopped working and it literally HOT as hell. I measured it, its well over 90*. What now?

I ended up disabling mine due to the same issue. After switching to using the pattern unlock it stopped heating up.
