fingerprint gestures & Samsung pay

Any way to enable this? I have the option but it's greyed out.

This is gonna sound weird, but have you opened/set up Samsung Pay already? Checked SPay settings to see if there's an option there to enable it (I'm on a plus model, so don't have those gestures).

yeah. went through all the options including going through Samsung pay. tried turning off all insecure unlock options also.

What about removing fingerprints and turning the FPS off? Just trying to see if, maybe, gestures are only active IF you're not using the power button as an FPS.

Works fine for me. I can't use the gesture to open SP while typing this, but can from home screen. Also use the button gestures to open and close notifications.

Works for me as well, important thing is you need to make sure you have the favorite card enabled in the home screen. Once that's there then you can enable the fingerprint gesture. Once you do that you can bring up Samsung pay by swiping up the fingerprint sensor from the home screen. Note that the finger print swiping gesture for Samsung pay only works from the home screen.

that's f-ing stupid. Samsung pay on the home screen completely gets in the way of home button swipe.

Yep agree, and that's why I don't use the favorite cards on home screen and hence no fingerprint gesture to bring up Samsung pay.

Just enabled for the post and explaining how it works, but turned off immediately

I also turned it off. But I do have it where I can swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Samsung Pay.

Its funny because I always activate Samsung pay after changing settings in nova launcher and then trying to go home to see how the changes look

No it doesn't. You have to scroll to your main page, and then the card is visible without the gestures.
