Fingerprint issues?

There seems to be a mixed bag of experiences with the fingerprint sensor on this phone. Personally, I am a bit underwhelmed. I have trouble getting it to read the fingerprint, it doesn't turn on the screen a majority of the time, and I find myself having to use my PIN to get into the phone.

What are you seeing with your Idol 4s?

0 issues with mine. Works almost 100%

Do you use it to wake up the phone also, or just to unlock once you turn the screen on?

I find it works better for the latter than the former.

Honestly both.. No issues with either with any of my registered fingers. Have you tried re-scannig your finger?

going to set them up again so that each is in there twice and see if that helps any.

Works a bit better. Spoke with Alcatel, they have noticed the same. Are looking to improve in future software release.
