The fingerprint reader on my Note 10 has been finicky from the start. Just recording them initially was a frustrating experience. I kept getting message to press harder in spite of the fact I was pressing so hard I was wondering how much pressure the screen could take.

Ultimately I arrived at successfully using the fps most of the time, but generally 2-3 attempts were required. However, for the past week I cannot ever successfully get a reading. I've cleared the cache to see if that could help. Nope.

I still have the factory screen protector on and have enabled touch sensitivity. Anyone else also lost all success with using fingerprint?

My latest update was the August 1 security patch.

Works 99% of the time on mines AT&T Note10 Plus with the Dome Glass On It, But i rather use the Face ID much faster.

It shouldn't require that much force , erase them all and try it again

Thanks, that helped. Not sure why I didn't think of that. Was thinking next step would be factory reset and wanted to avoid that!
Your welcome!
Anytime you see it give a issue after a update or anytime , just erase all prints and start over
