Is there a report of how the fingerprint scanner actually works on the new Samsung Galaxy S6? Does it have an actual image of your fingerprint stored on the phone, their cloud server, at their headquarters in Korea? Seems like people just gloss over the specs and new features of the phone but security of privacy seems to have gotten lost.
I own an iPhone and like how the fingerprint scanner stores a mathematical representation of the fingerprint but not the actual image. I hope that Samsung implement something along those lines to help secure privacy of individuals.
