fingerprint scanner

Has anyone else's fingerprint scanner stopped working? Whatever I do to try and fix it, it's just not working. Do you think lollipop 5.1 should fix this issue? It stopped working ever since updated to lollipop.

That hasn't happened to me however did you check in settings under "fingerprint" to see that your fingerprint files were retained? Unfortunately when I got Lollipop I didn't back up to Kies ( backed up through phone's backup menu only ) and most of my apps did not come back. So perhaps the same thing happened to you with your fingerprint files. You didn't state if your fingerprint files are still on your phone. Are you sure you have set lockscreen to fingerprint unlock? Maybe the update has reverted back to no lockscreen or something else.

Go to Application Manager, All applications and find Fingerprint, disable and enable it again and clean cache, that should help!
