My daughter and I have the Pixel 3XL, and we have hit all the latest updates.

On mine the fingerprint scanner no longer recognizes my fingers (I programmed in two fingers). On my daughter's it takes several attempts to get it to work.

Has Antonio else had this issue, and how did you resolve?

When you set your finger print, make sure the case is on the phone.
When you register the fingerprint.
Try touching and press.
Everytime you touch, press.
See if it helps.

Mine is acting up all of a sudden.
Have cleaned, restarted phone, erased prints and tried again.
One hand, the print works perfectly, when I try to get a print of my other hand, the phone will just not accept the print.....
Any suggestions?

I honestly think now it's because of super smooth dry skin....working fine again !!
After trying NUMEROUS times to re add fingerprint.... !!

I've had this on my Pixel 2XL. If my skin is really dry or really moist, it won't register the fingerprint.

Try removing all your fingerprints, cleaning the sensor, ensure your fingers are clean + dry, and then re-register to see if that helps.

I am going through this issue now. Scanner would not read my right hand fingers but work flawlessly for my left hand fingers.

Is it a "thing" that scanner can't read fingerprints on dry skin?

I know from experience that extreme or prolonged exposure to Cold weather can impact readability do to dry skin.

I can confirm that very dry, cracked, or cut skin can nix the sensor's ability to read an imprint. it has sometimes taken a few days for my skin to heal sufficiently to register again.
