Fingerprint Sensor not working after screen replacement of Google Pixel 7

My Google Pixel 7 screen shattered and hence I had it replaced. After the replacement the technician said that the fingerprint sensor won't work. I was furious but I had no option because I was leaving town in a couple of days. He assured me he had used the original component. Now when I try to add a fingerprint I get a message "Can't use fingerprint sensor . Visit a repair provider or g.co/pixel/fingerprintunlock". Anyway to fix this or is my fingerprint sensor cooked?

Where did you take it to get done? Any official place which replaces the screen would have a working fingerprint sensor so that would be a technician issue

You'll have to take that up with the repair shop that did the work.

Take it back to them and tell the to take it apart and check there work. My bet is he damage a plug or left something unplugged. Good luck
