Fingerprint to lock the phone like on the G6?

I upgraded to a G7, as G6 got stolen, and according to the review they all say its pretty much just an improved G6.

How do I get the fingerprint to unlock AND lock the phone as well, like on my G6?

its driving me nuts as my comfy position cant reach the actual power button, i never used to use that on the G6.

this is also the worst thing to try to google as it comes up with hundreds of people asking to turn it off, or those fake lock screens with fingerprints on.

at a pinch it would be ok to remap the assistant button but i've seen that isnt happening anytime soon?

The power button is not in the FPS sensor on the G7, as it is on the G6. You can either use the side power button or double tap the screen.

Or face unlock.. It works pretty well on the G7, which for me wasn't replicated in the G6!
