Fingerprint unlock

Hi

Since i have done the latest firmware up date i unable to use fingerprint unlock i have gone thru settings and a message pops up at bottom saying it s enabled but as soon as i dont use my phone for any longer than a couple of minutes it keeps asking for my password and tell me it is something to do with security parameters any advice was working fine up to last firmware up grade?
