Fingerprint with Swipe Unlock

A long time ago I was told no, it's not possible but it's been a while so I was wondering if there's any workaround at this point with updates... Is it possible to still use fingerprints for things like Lastpass and Samsung Pay but just have Swipe unlock? I am so sick of unlocking my phone 900 times a day, and the Smart Unlock absolutely never works (trust devices or locations).

Nope. But if the phone is rooted, you can just blank the screen (using Quick Reboot Pro [it's "pro" but it's free] it won't lock. Just choose Screen lock [or put a Screen lock widget on your home screen]) and the lock screen timeout will stop counting down. (That link is to my Drive copy of the apk, if you want it.) There are also screen blankers (like Smart Screen On Off) that don't require root, that kick in when you place the phone upside down - but I don't remember if they stop the lockscreen counter. I think they do.)

You could keep it unlocked with a Smart Lock option.
