Fire HD 8 with Android nougat or higher?

Hey guys I just bought an Amazon Fire HD 8 and I'd love to be able to put some sort of Android OS on it nougat or higher. Is this possible? I've never really got into the whole flash and rom thing so just wondering if it's it's possible and if so is there a link for first timers to follow?

To my knowledge, it is not possible to root or install alternate roms on the current Amazon Fire tablets.

Yes you can install google play store.
