Firefox failure

When I go to Firefox and enter a term in search window, the internet pages come up but then there is an immediate switch back to the apps page of my Nexus 7.
I spoke with tech support but they were not able to solve problem, including an uninstall and reinstall of Firefox.
Any suggestions?

So FireFox closes when you try to search for something, basically?

I don't use FireFox, prefer Chrome, but yeah uninstall/reinstall is the place to start. After that, maybe a full wipe. Are you rooted or rommed?

Fixed as of 4 a.m. Eastern Standard Time 11/15/12. You should update your Firefox if you are still having trouble.
