Does anyone else have the Gold, 64Gb, L09 variant from Carphone Warehouse and if so are you stuck on VTR-L09C432B120 ? It is EMUI 5.1 Android 7.0 but the March Security update. I have seen people posting about being on later versions but wondered if you all manually updated ?
I've had a few Huawei phones and lost patience before with regards to updates and gone ahead and unlocked the boot-loader and manually updated etc. The phone is working just fine and i have no real reason to do this other than the security update. Other issue is that in the UK we can't automatically unlock the bootloader, it's a mail to Huawei support and this can take some time in my experience.
It's more curiosity than anything.
