Firmware upgrade encountered an issue?!?!HELP FAST

so i wanted to jailbreak (root) my galaxy note 2
while i was doing that, apparently it failed and tried plugging usb back again
then suddenly the screen said "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again"

i try finding answers in google like pushing - volume + home button + and something
but it didnt work

please help me T-T
clear instruction too please
