First Impressions - Note 9 Battery Life vs Note 8

Just got my T-mobile Note 9 yesterday and opened it last night so I've haven't had it even a day. But my first impression is that the battery is draining quicker than I expected. Left My Note 9 and 8 by each other before going to sleep in airplane mode with Wifi on and they both lost about 10%.

I also noticed the Note 9 running hotter than my 8. I have the US SD845 version.

How is your battery life for your note 9 vs note 8?

My Advice, give it a week and make sure all of your sync settings are tuned and then see what the battery performance is then. Also, if you did a data xfer from device to device (even if it was a Note 8, there could be differences or something that can cause battery performance issues)

Respectfully can't see how battery life can be judged with a new phone just out of box. Android for better or worse is still reviewing the installed apps to determine queuing and application residence in ram. I have always noticed higher battery use and warmer device for first few days.

This does not even count the additional use the device is likely getting, since a new device.
