I actually spent a lot of time deleting all of my root apps that carried over. I tried a few launchers but haven't jumped ship from touchwiz yet. The most important was installing a new keyboard. Went with SwiftKey and love it so far.

LastPass, so I didn't have to type in my credentials for everything over and over. (Also, hat top to Google on improving Google Play. It was easier to click through my apps and have them OTA to the phone than it would have been to find an old MyBackUp file with APKs.)
