First phone to get four versions?

So is the Essential Phone the first to run four major platform versions? Released on 7 and now on 10.

Even Google only does 2 major updates (release on 8, the last update would be 10 - release on 7, the last update would be 9), so probably.

The original Pixel is getting 10, which makes 3 OS updates for that device (released with 7)

Actually my Google Pixel 1 XL started with Android 7 Nougat and is in the process of downloading Android 10 public release after rocking the Android 10 Beta.

As far as my Essential Ph-1 downloading Android 10, whether it is a Beta or Public release, I'm going to study my Pixel for a bit and read up on how Android 10 is doing on other's Essential Ph-1s first. My Essential is my daily driver and I don't want it messed up.
