First root

Just wanted to share. I am a veteran to iPhone jailbreaks but never rooted an android. Last night I rooted my backup mt4g to stock 2.3.5 with the nexus boot loader. verry excited. Now to search for some cool root only apps. I already installed the gtalk app to allow video calls.

Androids do not work in the same fashion that iOS works.

#su access allows for access to the /bin file systems and they /system folders of your phone.

You won't find many "cool" root only apps. other than customization apps. Or apps to back up apps that are already on your phone.

Alot of people jailbreak their iOS device to install apps that haven't been approved by JobCorp. Where Google has a much more relaxed policy when it comes to approving apps.
