Hello. My Incredible should be snugly in my grasp by tomorrow night, and I just have a a few questions going into the android arena.

1. Is there a centralized app management program, similar to iTunes, for the android platform?

2. Can apps be transferred between devices? So for instance if I want to replace my Incredible with an Eris, will I be able to do so?

1. There isn't a Google provided solution, but AppBrain is an excellent website to keep track of and sync your apps. More info here.

2. You will have to re-download your apps, but as long as you use the same Google account, your purchased apps can be downloaded for free (as long as they're compatible w/ the OS version).

You can use a program called doubletwist to sync all your music and playlist. If you switch phones you can download all the apps you bought for your previous phone for free.

for #2 they'll just be under downloads in the market. So its pretty simple :)
