first time market account sign in

Out of curiosity, is there a setting or something you can do on your google account that will stop the TF from downloading all your current apps when you first log into your google acount?

I have a list of apps in my market account, but I don't want most of them to be loaded onto the TF.

Not sure there is a way to do that but I could be wrong. I just deleted a few app's that I didn't want on my TF.

I believed when you're setting up the tablet for the 1st time and as you're logging in, you'll come to a screen that ask if you want to sync your market and/or back up your apps to Google account.
Don't remember the exact wordings but un-tick the box if you don't want them to download and install.

Good to know. So then after everything is setup you just go into market and manually select the ones you do want to install from your ?My Account? tab or whatever?

Anyway, I?ll find out tomorrow when it arrives. Just didn?t want it to auto-fill with apps I don?t want on it only to have to delete them.

The issue with uncheckimg backup is I think you may not get contacts and stuff either - you might have to go into gmail and sync things.

Mine only synched paid apps, and I deleted the ones that I didn't want. Took just a few minutes.
