Here's my first wallpaper, not Excellent, but I'm new to GIMP and any photo editing software of the sort, so I'm happy, expect a better one soon to follow

That's not half bad! (well besides the Yankee logo thing...) lol J/K :P Keep working at it and you'll get better and better. I've been messing around with Photoshop for a few years and it seems like I am still learning new stuff and helpful techniques!

How do you get the uniforms on them? I tried all night, then gave up. I have a nice background that I want to throw a uniform on the android guy and call it a day.

That's really good!! A lot better than anything I could ever do.....lol

It would be kind of awesome if there was a Phillies Wallpaper available :p

Well the way I do it is to find a good straight on view of a jersey by itself with no player in it or anything like that then scale it down as best I can by eye to fit the body of the jersey from collar to bottom and side to side leaving the sleeves hanging of the androids body. Basically you have to cut the Android image into seperate layers. Body, arm, arm, head, legs, etc. on Photoshop there is a selection tool where it basically puts a dotted border around the layer you want to select and you would do this on the Body portion of the Android. then choose the layer with the jersey on it and basically cut off the excess jersey around the Android body. You should pretty much only have sleeves left. Then you do the same thing to the arms fitting the sleeves correctly on each arm and cutting the excess off the sleeves. You could possibly even throw a hat on him. I haven't tried that yet. It really sounds a lot more difficult than it is. LoL

I hope that helps somewhat. :) If you want anything specific and can't figure it out, I'll be more than happy to try and make one for you.
