Fit App on Tag Heuer Connected 46 not working

[Android Central Question]

The fitness app on my Connected 46 is no longer working. I have re-set my watch to factory settings but the function that shows how many steps you have done does no longer work. This function initially seemed to freeze which is why I re-set the watch. Any suggestions.
