"Fix" Browser Rendering

If you want to make the above happen, type "about:debug" (no quotes) in the address bar and hit "Go". Then press the menu button > Settings > Debug and check off the option "Normal rendering". I'm not sure why this isn't set to default.
 
Yeah WTF? It stays checked but it stops normal rendering after you close the browser. Hopefully it's just a bug that'll be fixed in the next update.
 
I think HTC is the only manufacturer that gives the permanent desktop option in the stock browser.
This is one of the reasons people use dolphin, xscope, miren, and others.
