My phone is showing incorrect battery charge percentage. For example, when it is on it shows 6% left, when I restart it or turn it off and plug in a charger, it shows 24%. So, I charge it to 92% (with the phone off) and when I turn it back on, it shows 84%. Is there a way to fix it? I mean the one that really works?

I'm not sure if this is the fix idea you were looking for, but if you installed a battery monitor app, like AccuBattery, I think there is an option to have the battery percentage in the notification bar.

Unfortunately the fix your looking for is probably going to be a new battery... those are the classic signs of a battery dying. Considering your pixels age you've gotten a very good lifespan out of your battery ;)

This.

Although with the 2 being so old and out of the security update window, I'd recommend splurging for a newer phone.

This phone has the same problem...but J. Dubbs's answer won't work for this battery is just about a y/o.
Any other ideas/causes?

Although you may have only had the phone for a year, it is possible that it was sitting on a shelf for a long time draining the battery. Also, if you let the battery drain lower than 40% on a regular basis then it could easily die prematurely. I agree with J. Dubbs, fuzzylumpkin and Mustang.
