I'm sure we will. I Adobe announced they would continue to do bug-fixes. To me, getting flash to work on ICS would be included. Its not a new version (i.e. Flash 12).

I think devs will have an unofficial version very quickly ported from honeycombs flash 11. Kind of how honeycomb had a hacked version of Netflix months before the official app.

I've seen tweets that ICS will have flash by the end of December.

I saw where the GN is getting flash, but I remember reading that a number of users said their browser was noticeably faster without flash running. So what all would you miss if there was no flash? Would youtube videos still play?

Also, since Adobe is abandoning flash, what will happen to web sites that use it? I guess I'm not understanding the big picture.

Steve Jobs was right html5 is the future. And yes YouTube will work. There are a few we pages my apple user friends told me don't that work fine on Honeycomb with flash....like weather.com but they may have fixed that by now...

Dunno about ICS, but the Market did update me to ver 11.1 yesterday.

Considering most of the people actually buying this thing are readers of this site I would not worry about too many of them being ignorant of it.

While I do like flash, I'm starting to use it less and less on my phone, so I think I can manage until they release it for ICS. But you know you never know how much you need something until it's gone.
